Quality Management Unit and Its Activities

The number of personnel assigned to the Quality Management Unit is determined by the Chief Physician, taking into consideration the size and specific characteristics of our hospital. Personnel working in the Quality Management Unit receive training on topics such as quality management, patient safety, and documentation.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Defines and proposes the necessary elements for developing a comprehensive quality policy and ensuring its continuity, monitors compliance with established quality standards, the efforts to meet these standards, and any planned changes within a structured program.

• Participates in and manages self-assessment processes.

• Monitors and manages processes related to the incident reporting system.

• Collects and evaluates statistical data periodically to ensure that faulty or incomplete processes comply with the predetermined quality levels, and identifies improvement actions accordingly.

• Coordinates all activities conducted within the scope of the Healthcare Quality Standards (SKS).

• Follows up on efforts related to the institution’s strategic goals and objectives.

• Manages processes in line with risk management principles.

• Oversees activities aimed at measuring patient and employee satisfaction, including surveys, the evaluation of survey results, improvement actions based on feedback, and collection of opinions from patients and staff.

• Manages document control in accordance with SKS requirements.

• Oversees and improves processes in line with quality indicators.

• Keeps up-to-date with the latest developments and directives from the Ministry of Health.

• Actively participates in committees defined within the SKS framework.

• Carries out additional tasks assigned by the Chief Physician.
